The crime, which has been labelled &#8216;appalling&#8217; by the victim&#8217;s son, was caught on video after he noticed his mother&#8217;s purse had less money than usual. He became concerned so installed CCTV cameras in his mother&#8217;s home and caught Retallick in the act.
